WARRIOR SOFTBALL TOURNEMENT 2009

Another softball season has come to an end. The girls finished with a record of 4 wins and 4 losses going into the tournement. After a very long weekend the girls finished in 3rd place.

FOX CREEK ALL-STAR GAMES

The Fox Creek All-Star games is an evening set up at the school where you can go with your family and compete against other families or just each other. The events included long jump, basketball free throw, hula hoop, volleyball, baseball, bean bag toss, 3 legged race etc..

MATH ROYALTY

This is Journey's 6th grade class. You have to pass a series of 4 math tests in a certain amount of time before you are awarded the crown and become Math Royalty. Journey's teacher sent this to us all because the whole class is finally in the "Royal Family"

JOEY'S FIELD DAY!!

Field Day is not what it used to be. I remember individual competitions against your classmates and being awarded ribbons. Now everything is about teams and there are no winners and losers (no ribbons). I miss the old school field day, but the kids had fun.

This game was kind of cute they all held hands in a circle and had to have the hula hoop go through everyone without letting the hands go.
This relay was a partner game and they had to run down and balance as many objects as they could on a cone and run back. The team with the most items wins.

JOURNEY'S FIELD DAY

Journey and Lexie ran a station for K-4 grades

The object of this game was there were 8 kids all holding a rope with a platform in the middle they had to try to balance objects in the middle from one side to the other without having the object all off.
The object of this game was to line up the tubes and have a ball go through all the tubes without falling out until the end when it fell into a bucket. The first team to get three balls into the bucket wins. It was Girls VS Boys guess who won.

After dinner some of us went to play mini golf. I found out my camera takes horrible pictures at night, but this is what I got.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASON WALKER!!

After the football game all decided to go out to dinner for Jason's birthday and when I say "all" I mean "all"
I think there were 16 total.
All he needs is a bottle of booze.
Did he think the kids were really going to pass up the opportunity for them to sing to their dad.
What Jason didn't expect is the waiter to shove whipped cream in his face.
