THANKSGIVING 2009

We had a really busy week last week with school plays and lots of company. We had 20 people over for Thanksgiving dinner. I didn't get to many pictures, but here are a couple.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Our neighbor Gabe auditioned for and got a part in A Christmas Carol downtown at the Performing Arts Center. We were lucky enough to be invited for friends and family night. It was so much fun to watch the show and see Gabe on stage. It was a great show.

JOURNEY'S LATIN FIESTA

Journey's class put on a program this week also. They are learning about Latin America. Each student had to bring in a Latin American dish and they had one giant fiesta.

ROCHELLE'S BABY SHOWER

My neighbor Kathy and I had a baby shower for our neighbor Rochelle who is due Thanksgiving week.

All these kids belong to Kathy, Rochelle and me and we tried hard for about 20 min to get a good shot and this was as good as it got and we are still missing one. Cy, Monique, Joey, Caden, Zac, Journey, Thalya and Bay.

DIAPER CAKE

Journey and I attempted to make a diaper cake for the baby shower and it was actually much easier than we thought.We were very happy with the way it turned out.

AVALANCHE VS OILERS

Jason's boss took all his employees and their families to an Aves game on Sunday night against the Oilers.
Outside the Pepsi Center on our way in was a car show. Joey needed to take a picture with this car (Bumblebee from Transformers)

DC EXPRESS SOFTBALL

Hard to believe we are still playing softball in November, but here we are and it was almost to warm to wear a jacket. This is Journey's new team and they finished the weekend with 4 losses and 1 win, but I think they had fun.

Snow storm? What snow storm? 2 feet of snow will not slow these trick-or-treaters down. It was actually a really nice night just a little wet. The theme this year for Journey and Joey were ZOMBIES!! (as always double click on the picture to enlarge photo)
