CRAZY HAIR MONDAY!!

It is Spirit Week at Cresthill Middle school. Each day this week is a different theme. Today was crazy hair day.

JOURNEY IN JUICY!!

Journey went to a slumber party on Friday night and they went shopping at Cherry Creek mall. They went into the Juicy Couture store and tried some stuff on and took some pics. The jacket she is wearing is $360.00 and the baret is $96.00. Hopefully she doesn't get to attached to the good stuff...but she looks cute!!

JOEY'S PROJECT

I thought I would share one of Joey's projects to. This was funny because of his hair. They had to make a self portrait and he just added hair that covered up his eyes because before he got his hair cut you could never see his eyes. I think somewhere between school and home he lost some yarn.

JOEY'S WEEKEND!!

Joey spent the majority of his weekend on his skateboard. He is getting pretty quick. Here is a video of his skating skills I wish I could say the same for my recording skills. It does get a little blurry in parts, and if you listen closely you can hear Joey's friend Cy skate right into my car.

JOURNEY'S WEEKEND

This is how Journey has been spending alot of her evenings and weekends. HOMEWORK! HOMEWORK! HOMEWORK!


Journey spent all week and weekend creating an island. The island had to be in a real location anywhere in the world, but there could be no land there at present time. Her island map had to include correct latitude and longitude, legend, bar scale and physical and human features. Cities, population, climate how the citizens made their living, special vegitation etc. It also had to have a theme which she chose baseball/softball. She had to not only draw and create the map but write a report on all the things listed above. This was a very time consuming project and all I can say is "thank God it's done"

JOEY FIELD DAY 2010!!

Joey had field day on Friday. Field day is not the same as it used to be. It is alot of team building activities and not alot if competition among the students, but it is a fun afternoon and the weather was perfect.

This is a tug-of-war. 3rd grade against the other 3rd grade. Joeys class beat one of the 3rd grade classes and lost to the other 3rd grade class. (video posted below of tug-of-war victory)

Joey has been out on the trampoline practicing this for awhile and he has finally mastered it. I'm afraid to see what he wants to work on next

TASTE OF COLORADO!

We had a really good time downtown even though it was overcrowded and hot. The concert was great. I really wish I would have gotten more pictures though. I have not been doing such a great job of that.

PREPARING TO SEE BRET MICHAELS!

After watching the Celebrity Apprentice Journey became a huge Bret Michaels fan so when she found out he was coming to the Taste Of Colorado over Labor Day weekend she just had to go see him in person. Journey and Kayla decided to make shirts and flip flops for the show.
