We had a free Saturday and went to a Pumpkin festival at Jared's Nursery. They had pumpkins there that weighed over 900 pounds that local farmers had grown. They also had activities for kids and at the end of the festival they took 3 pumpkins and hoisted them up in the air by a crane at 150 feet and dropped the. The first round they dropped a 250 pound squash, 2nd was a 500 pound pumpkin and the 3rd was the 900 pound pumpkin. It will air on the Weather Channel on 10/17/2011 at 07:30pm mountain time.

While the boys went on a hike Grandma Connie came down and took the girls and me to get out nails and toes done.

While Journey and I had a girls day the boys went hiking. I'm not even sure where they went but they had fun and it looks like they saw some cool things.
After a day of hiking they came across this burger place. Jason and Joey said t was the best buger they ever had.

Joey's school has their field day at the beginning of the year. It's really just a fun day to do class team building games and competitions.
ANOTHER FUN PROJECT FOR JOURNEY!
Another weekly project. This one is for Social Studies. She had to make a advertisement to try to get people to want to come and live in her colony. She had New Jersey. It turned out really nice.
